Our promise

• Apache 2.0, everything. The engine, the adapters, the game, the agents, the CLI and the cloud code all live in one repository under the Apache License 2.0.
• No feature behind a paywall, ever. Self-hosted Myrtille has every feature, for any number of users and towns.
• The licence will never become more restrictive retroactively. Contributions are accepted under the DCO, with no CLA.
• The cloud sells connectivity and peace of mind, never features. Myrtille Cloud, hosted in the European Union, runs the same code, and everything it does is documented so you can run it yourself.
• Your secrets stay yours. Tokens are encrypted at rest and never shown, not even to an administrator. The cloud never stores secrets, environment values, log contents, coding agent transcripts or Anthropic credentials.
• Telemetry is opt-in and anonymous, and you can see exactly what would be sent before it is sent.

The name Myrtille, the logo and the mascot are trademarks: a fork is welcome under its own name.
