Myrtille runs on your own server as one container: the town hall and the town it serves, with SQLite on a volume. Nothing external is required, and every feature is available.
Choose your path
Section titled “Choose your path”- You run Coolify: add Myrtille as a service of Coolify, from its template. Install with Coolify.
- Anywhere else with Docker: one
docker compose up -d. Install with Docker Compose.
Then open the address of the town hall and follow the setup: the owner account, your Coolify and a read token, the town appears, the webhook. Target: under ten minutes, with no change to your code. First steps walks through it.
What you need
Section titled “What you need”- A machine with Docker, or a Coolify 4.2.0 or later.
- An https address in front of the town hall to open it to your team, their phones and their coding agents (Coolify gives one to the service).
- For Coolify: its API enabled, and a
readtoken to start.
Keep it running
Section titled “Keep it running”- Update: pull the image and start it again; the town hall migrates its database at its start. Back up first.
- Back up and restore:
myrtille backupdownloads a hot copy, and the image restores it. Keep the instance secret apart from the backup. - What the cloud adds: every part of it can run on your side. Cloud features, self-hosted.
